Scattered Hamlet is an American hard rock/southern metal band known for their self-described style of “Honky Tonk Metal” — a gritty fusion of Southern rock swagger, outlaw attitude, and heavy rock aggression. Formed in 2010 by vocalist Adam Joad, the band blends influences ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet to Motörhead, Down, and classic punk rock, creating a sound that’s equal parts backwoods rebellion and full-throttle metal.

Built on relentless touring and explosive live performances, Scattered Hamlet has earned a reputation as a road-warrior band, playing more than 100 shows a year across the United States. Their high-energy stage presence and unapologetic Southern identity have landed them appearances at major festivals including Rocklahoma, Inkcarceration, SXSW, Vans Warped Tour, and the Gathering of the Juggalos.

The band gained wider attention with releases like Skeleton Dixie, Swamp Rebel Machine, and Stereo Overthrow, the latter helping further cement their place in the Southern hard rock underground. Swamp Rebel Machine charted on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and was voted one of Loudwire’s most anticipated releases upon release.
