Cvptvgon first saw success after releasing his saingle "dabsdabsdabs", cementing his place in the bass scene. His creative use of sampling and heavy sub-bass sound design gained attention from artists like ATLiens, Meso, Quix and G-Rex.

Dank Frank's first breakthrough track "Great Wall' was featured on the record label Deep Dark & Dangerous, as part of their Trilogy Compilation. he followed up with releases on both Subcarbon and Drama Club Records. Soon after, Dan Frank signed a label deal with Judu Dala, releasing his most popular racks, "Hollow Thoughts" and "Velcro". With success of these releases and his collaboration with Badrapper, Dank Frank received support frm such prominent artists as Zeds Deas, Boombox Cartel and Liquid Stranger.
