Check YES or NO to this date? On Friday June 3rd, Photo City Music Hall (543 Atlantic Ave) transforms a queer high school dance fantasy. Take our hand as we spin you round the dance floor to various genres and styles provided by 3 talented DJs, spinning fabulous tracks and personal faves that’ll make you bust out of your boutonnières. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Western Pennsylvania Fund for Choice (WPAFC) in Pittsburgh, an abortion fund through the Allegheny Reproductive Health Center providing care to patients in the region and neighboring states.
We always aim for JUICE BOX to be a bright, bubbly, and inclusive space for all to enjoy, especially our queer community. Bring your friends, bring a date (or dates), or bring yourself; we welcome all options to prom. Dress in your most fabulous gown or suit. Dazzle in a crown, or accent with flowers. Give royalty, camp, sleaze, comfort, or anything in between! Whatever makes you happy and confident. Just be you, and come share your love and energy on the dance floor with us.
JUICE BOX’s goal for this party is to be a special one for queer folks ages 21 and up; a lot of us missed out on prom, didn’t go as our authentic selves, or maybe had a bad experience. We propose Queer Prom to be an event to make up for lost time, and a second chance at a night full of all the right memories. See you on the dance floor!

In the interest of your safety and current public health guidelines recommended by the CDC, we require all attendees to be fully vaccinated (2-weeks after your final shot) for COVID-19.
We will accept both physical and digital proof of your vaccination. For physical proof, please bring your CDC-issued vaccination card and matching picture ID with you. Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep your vaccination card safe throughout the event. For digital proof, we will accept the following digital apps that are connected to the official health databases:
- Excelsior
- Walgreens or CVS apps
- College/university apps
- Hospital apps such as NHS, MYConnect, MYChart
- CLEAR app
A negative COVID result or a picture/screenshot of your vaccination card are not substitute for a physical or digital proof of vaccination.
Only buy your tickets if you are fully vaccinated (two weeks after your final vaccination). We recommend downloading the listed apps and have your information ready before the event to ensure there is no issue at entry. Screenshots or emails will not be accepted.
There will be no refund if you are unable to show proof of your age and your vaccination.
Please arrive early to allow adequate time for the verification process at the door. Please also be kind to the door staff; we are doing our best to keep you and everyone safe while abiding with city/regional health authorities to stay open and bring more fun parties for you.
