We don't like to "toot our own horn" too often, but we're more than slightly proud of what we've managed to accomplish in our humble city in the recent past. Can you believe that it's been FIVE YEARS since a group of likeminded Rochester techno and house heads of different stripes combined to put forth such a fantastic run of dance music events? With an impressive list of dozens of top national DJs and producers adorning our many lineups over these years, Signal > Noise has inarguably contributed to the vibrant landscape of underground techno and house music in the region and country. We like to believe that what we've created here one party at a time has entertained, inspired and most importantly, brought people--all types of people--together. Our roster has changed slightly since the beginning, and the settings have varied, but the vision and intention of producing the best parties possible has always remained the same, and with the support of our beautiful, incredible crowd, faithful and newcomers alike, we'll keep doing this until the wheels fall off, we promise.

For this special occasion, Signal > Noise has finally secured a booking we've been working on for years, Queens, New York's uber-deep house maestro, FRED P.

For the better part of twenty years, Fred has been building his reputation around the world as one of the most dedicated heads in the game. As a producer, under the guise of Black Jazz Consortium he's brought the soulful, jazzy roots of the house sound to the forefront with a slew of albums and singles. Fred's label Soul People Music and it's sub-labels are littered with deep classics by himself and other international heavies. Under his Anomaly alias, shades of spacy techno find their way into the soundscape. On the decks, Fred P is elite, a weaver of sonic tapestries drawing from every aspect of the house music experience since its beginnings. Raised in New York city on its legendary dancefloors, Fred P has learned from its many masters and delivers that same timeless energy and intensity with, of course, his own personal stamp on the sound.

Fred P's debut appearance in this area is an event that shouldn't be missed by anyone who loves underground dance music.
